CPS Red October 2012-2013: Boycott Mswati’s Anti-Democratic Election

The Communist Party of Swaziland has launched the year 2012-13 Red October Campaign on an awareness rally in Mbabane today the 1st  December 2012 , together with other local organizations and groups  , starting with a clean up activity around the communities of Msunduza , Coporation and Mgababa. The campaign as stated previously aims at making sure that the 2013 tinkhundla elections are not a success , through mass boycott and disruption , we have committed ourselves to hold rallies , educational session , distribution of pamphlets, and making sure internationally the election are condemned and illegitimated by structures as the SADC and the UN.

The tinkhundla system of government survives on manipulating everything to benefit the few . The elections is another money laundering scheme  aimed at keeping the swazi working class and the poor on a false hope of change , this they do by co-opting some of the trusted cadres directly to parliament where the monarch has more powers making them a bunch of patrons in the royal daily circus. The alarming rate  of poverty (inequality), the HIV prevalence ,  in the country is a sign that Swaziland is a country that needs change .

We call upon the working class and all allied forces in the country to heed the call , to boycott and disrupt the elections , the international community has a greater role of making sure that the elections are nullified .

AWAY WITH MSWATI AND HIS SELECTION

FORWARD TO AN INTERIM GOVERNMENT MOVING FORWARD
